Matthew E. Kahn is an Associate Professor of International
Economics at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
His research focus is environmental and urban economics. He has published a
number of papers concerning the costs and benefits of environmental regulation.
His research on international environmental issues has focused on the costs of
urbanization in Santiago, Chile and the relationship between
international trade and environmental quality.
