"International marine conservation efforts- the Baja California to Bering Sea (B2B) Initiative"

Peter Etnoyer will share his experience working within Baja California to Bering Sea (B2B) marine conservation initiative under the environmental provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement. He will share some video from his recent expedition to collect corals off seamounts in the Gulf of Alaska with the ALVIN submersible. He will also describe some current data driven approaches to large scale marine planning, focusing specifically on continentally significant marine features in Northeast Pacific.
