“Environmental Health and Safety at Genentech - an Overview”

 

Implemented and directed environmental health and safety programs for multinational life sciences companies. Achievements included: policy development, implementation and performance communication; environmental health and safety corporate standards development; environmental product design; auditing environmental health and safety programs and business practices; assessing environmental health and safety risks; and implementing business plans to eliminate or manage risks. Additional responsibilities include the management of a $6.4 M budget; strategic planning, resource allocation and EHS staff career development. Established an exemplary regulatory compliance record with corporate-developed programs managed at manufacturing locations. Allergan’s environmental health and safety performance was consistently ‘Top Quartile”.
