Tal Ben-Horin: understanding how climate impacts the distribution of marine intertidal organisms. Laura Grant: the economics of public goods provision and nonprofit charities, with a primary focus on the environmental sector. Shannon Hannah: the impacts of metal oxide nanoparticles on marine infaunal invertebrates. Darren Hardy: collective authorship of geographic information and its effects on information behaviors. Sara Hughes: urban governance, specifically the organizational and institutional influences on urban water use and delivery patterns. Catherine Shields: impacts of urbanization and climate change on catchment-scale hydrology and vegetation function. Oliver Soong: spatial variation in the population dynamics of cottonwoods and willows on winter rain-fed rivers in the Central Valley of California and how such spatial variation is driven by the coupled biophysical environment. Lorena Vieli: agricultural landscapes from an ecological perspective, particularly focused on landscape ecology and ecological modeling. Jono Wilson: fisheries ecology, particularly collaborative fisheries management and the application of novel decision-making tools. See the complete symposium schedule
