Research Interests
Ellen Hanak is a research fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California, with a background in the economics of natural resource management and agricultural development. She was a principal investigator of the PPIC study, California 2005: Taking on the Future, which examines the growth and infrastructure challenges facing the state. Her other work at PPIC has focused on California water policy. She has a Ph.D in economics from the University of Maryland.
