The PhD Students at THE BREN SCHOOL OF Environmental Science & Management, with generous support from the Graduate Division, Present THE FIRST ANNUAL BREN PhD STUDENT RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM
Friday, Oct. 17, 2008 Please note: Space is limited to the first 100 guests who register, and though space may be available at some of the talks, registration for lunch and the reception are required. Those wishing to attend should register here.
Introduction The first Bren School PhD Student Research Symposium has been organized by Bren PhD students and was made possible by a generous support of the UCSB Graduate Division and the Bren School. Graduate students and professors from the Bren School and other departments are invited to attend. The event will provide an opportunity for Bren PhD students to present their work to an interdisciplinary audience and receive feedback on both their research and their presentation. It is also a great opportunity to learn first-hand about the real interdisciplinary research happening at the Bren School.
