Introduction

The first Bren School PhD Student Research Symposium has been organized by Bren PhD students and was made possible by a generous support of the UCSB Graduate Division and the Bren School. Graduate students and professors from the Bren School and other departments are invited to attend. The event will provide an opportunity for Bren PhD students to present their work to an interdisciplinary audience and receive feedback on both their research and their presentation. It is also a great opportunity to learn first-hand about the real interdisciplinary research happening at the Bren School.

The day-long event will begin with coffee and morning sessions. A light lunch will be served, followed by afternoon research sessions. Bren faculty member Sarah Anderson will provide concluding remarks about environmental policy and research. If you have any other questions about the symposium, please contact Theresa Nogeire.
