Congratulations to UCSB and the Bren Center from a proud UCSB parent
("California's 'Greenest' Building To Open on Campus in January,"
Sept. 28, 2001).
I suggested making the Bren Center a green building at one of the events during our daughter's 1998 freshman orientation. I was invited to meet with the new project managers. They were worried that the design was already too far along to make it green. I pointed out that there were still many opportunities. I am delighted to see that those opportunities have been fully realized.
