Assistant Dean for Development
Andrew Krupa administers the activities of the Bren School's external constituents. He and his development team serve as the primary liaisons between the Bren School and the corporations, foundations, and individuals who wish to support the school's vision and mission through charitable investments.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (UConn) and holds degrees in Natural Resource Economics & Policy. He received his professional fundraising certification from Boston University. He has held positions as foundation officer for the Nature Conservancy, state director for Experience Works, Inc. (U.S. Department of Labor), and program manager for the UConn Foundation. He comes to the Bren School after five years as Chief Advancement Officer & Director of Athletic Development for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He is also the founder and former chair of the Connecticut Surfrider Foundation, and has extensive experience in development, alumni relations, strategic planning, capital campaign operations, stewardship, and nonprofit management.
