David Parker is the Director of Career Development and Alumni Relations at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management. In managing those two programs, David is responsible for job placement, internship development, career advisement and training, professional development, and alumni relations.

David joined the Bren School in 1998. He has more than 25 years of experience in the human resources and career development fields, including experience as an employment manager, career counselor, college recruiter, corporate trainer, and organizational development consultant. David has worked for small, medium, and large organizations (including Fortune 50 companies). His organizational-development work includes consulting projects with AT&T, Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), Coast Savings and Loan, and the Huntington Beach Podiatry Group. David has a BA in economics, an MBA, and an MS in counseling.
