David Parker is the Director of Career Development at the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management—University of California, Santa Barbara. In managing the Career Development Program, David is responsible for job placement, internship development, career advisement and training, professional development, and alumni relations.

David joined the Bren School in 1998. He has over 20 years experience in the Human Resources and Career Development field, including experience as an employment manager, career counselor, college recruiter, corporate trainer, and organizational development consultant. David has worked for small, medium, and large organizations (including Fortune 50 Companies). David’s organizational development work includes consulting projects with AT&T, Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), Coast Savings and Loan, and the Huntington Beach Podiatry Group. David has a BA in Economics, an MBA, and an MS in Counseling.
