Objectives
The Marine Sanctuary Group Project had three
objectives:
1. Decide upon a habitat classification system that
would be useful to resource managers of the Channel
Islands National Marine Sanctuary.
2. Determine a method for querying the classification
system in order to extract potential species
distributions.
3. Create a system for efficient information
dissemination to management agencies, scientists,
stakeholders, as well as the general public.
