Coastal Conservancy The Coastal Conservancy acts with others to preserve, protect, and restore the resources of the California Coast. Their vision is a beautiful, restored, and accessible coastline.
SCWRP The goal of the Southern California Wetlands Recovery Project is to accelerate the pace, the extent, and the effectiveness of coastal wetland restoration in Southern California through developing and implementing a regional prioritization plan for the acquisition, restoration, and enhancement of Southern California's coastal wetlands and watersheds.
CERES CERES and California Wetlands Information System are programs of the California Resources Agency. The Wetlands Information System is designed to provide comprehensive wetlands information to the general public, the educational community, and government agencies. It is a compilation of public and private sector information, including maps, environmental documents, agency roles in wetlands management, restoration and mitigation activities, regulatory permitting, and wetland policies.
USFWS The National Wetlands Inventory project was established by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to generate information about the characteristics, extent, and status of the nation's wetlands and deepwater habitats.
Audubon National Audubon Society Wetlands Campaign -Works to preserve and restore the nation's wetland ecosystems in order to protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, as well as to protect human health and safety and to sustain a healthy economy.
SWS Society of Wetland Scientists-A non-profit organization founded in 1980 to promote wetland science and the exchange of information related to wetlands.
USGS The National Wetlands Research Center created by the US Geological Survey-Develops and disseminates scientific information needed for understanding the ecology and values of America's wetlands and for managing and restoring wetland habitats and associated animal and plant communities.
WetlandsIntl Wetlands International - A global non-profit organization concerned with the conservation of wetlands and wetland species in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
WAN The Wetlands Action Network is working to protect and restore wetlands along the Pacific Migratory Pathway.
WSI The Wetland Science Institute is a division of the United States Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service whose mission is to "proactively develop, adapt, and disseminate science and technology to protect and restore wetlands."
