The Bren School invites any agency, firm, or individual with an environmental problem to submit a proposal for a Group Project topic. This is a valuable and exciting opportunity for someone with an environmental problem in need of a solution to have a group of talented Master's students tackle the problem and make recommendations. It is also an excellent opportunity to establish a working relationship with the Bren School.
The Bren School solicits Group Project proposals during the fall each year, and the proposals are due during the beginning of January. Appropriate Group Project topics are real and current problems in environmental policy or management, problems that require a solution.
The proposals selected by the Group Project Selection Committee will be assigned MESM students and commence during the Spring Quarter of the students' first year of study. The students will work on the projects for one year and present their results at a community-wide oral and poster presentation session. Everyone is invited to attend!
