The Bren School invites any agency, company, organization, or individual that has an environmental problem to submit a proposal for a Group Project. This is a valuable
opportunity to have a group of talented master's students tackle
the problem and make recommendations to address it. It is also an excellent opportunity
to establish a working relationship with the Bren School.
The Bren School solicits Group Project proposals in fall every year, with proposals due in January. Appropriate Group Project topics are real, current problems in environmental policy or management that require a solution.
Each proposal chosen by the Group Project Selection Committee will be assigned a group of MESM students, and work on the projects will commence during the spring quarter of the students' first year of study. The groups will work on the projects for one year and present their results in April during panel and poster presentations that are open to the public.
For information on submitting a Group
Project proposal, please see our 2012-2013 RFP. To view last year's successful proposals,
please see our current Group Projects webpage.
The deadline for submitting a Group Project proposal for the 2012-2013 academic year is 5 p.m on January 27, 2012.
