Mengya’s interest lies in understanding the life -cycle impacts of chemicals and materials by integrating the concepts of pollution prevention, remediation, and risk assessment. Her current research is focused mainly on the study of the QSAR (Quantitative-Structure-Activity-Relationship) model and its application in predicting a chemical’s physio-chemical properties, as well as its effects on ecology and human health.
