Q: Some of my email messages are missing. Where should I look for them?
A:
Determine which mailbox you are using when you have Outlook open.
Go to the Folder List in the left pane and right-click on Outlook Today - [FirstNames's network Folders]. It may not be named exactly like that, but should be the top level folder in that window.
Note: If the Folders List is not showing, go to the View menu and click "Folder List"]

Go to Properties and click on the Advanced button.
Then look at the Path and see which of the above paths is listed.
If it is listed as listed as: H:\Mail\mailbox.pst, you are using the correct mailbox.
If it is someplace under: C:\Documents and Settings\username, then it is being stored in your profile, and you probably have two mailboxes. GO TO "How do I get my mail sent to the correct mailbox on my H: drive..?"
