Bren Computing Infrastructure
The Bren School's computing infrastructure is tied closely to computing at UCSB's Institute for Computational Earth Systems Science (ICESS). ICESS provides e-mail services as well as the Bren School's connection to the UCSB Campus Network and the Internet. The Bren School has its own Student Computing Facility (SCF) with fully-equipped IBM-compatible computers. The SCF is normally open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but after-hours access is available to students as well. To set up after-hours access, please e-mail request@bren.
