Printing through the wireless is somewhat imperfect but you can give it a try.
To add a printer you first need to know the name of the printer you want to
print to, we will assume panda for this example.
List of Printer Names / Locations
Windows Directions:
Once you are connected to the wireless, click on start->run (start "search programs and files" windows 7)
type \\128.111.110.107\panda in the run box and hit ok (you can replace panda
with the name of another printer if you need a different one).
Some time will pass and you will be prompted for a username and password, use
your bren username and password however put esm\ in front of your username (
esm\ddougherty )
Some more time will pass and hopefully the printer will be added, you
shouldn't be alarmed if you see some errors regarding being unable to
determine printer status as you can ignore them.
Mac Directions:
Open printer and faxes
Click + button
Hold down the ctrl key and click on the default icon in the top
left corner
Click customize toolbar on the box that pops up
Drag the advanced icon to the add printer toolbar
Click done
Click on the advanced icon
Change type to windows
For url enter smb://128.111.110.107/panda (or other printer
name)
Change name to printer name
Select generic postscript printer from the print using dropdown
Click add
After printing your first document, a printer icon will pop up
with a red dot in the dock
open the printer icon, the print job will be held and say
authentication required
click on the print job and hit resume, it will ask you to
authenticate
Enter esm\username for the name
Enter your bren password for the password
Check remember this password in my keychain if you want and click
ok
