PRINTING ENVELOPES ON SKUNK

1. You may want to let other students know that you are printing out envelopes, because the B&W printer is usually being used at any given time.

2. Open Tray 1 from the B&W HP8100DN printer.

3. Place up to ten envelopes between the paper width guides, face up, with the black flap lying against the rear paper guide

4. Slides the paper width guides until they lightly touch both sides of the envelopes stack without bending it

5. Open Microsoft Word

6. Type in your delivery address, and press Enter in between line

7. Go to Tools => Envelopes and Labels

8. Type in Return address

9. Press Options...

10. Click the Envelope Options Tab

11. Change the Envelope Size from the Envelope size scroll down list

12. Click on Printing Options Tab
Select the following settings:

13. Feed Method => the rightmost option,

14. Select Face up and check Clockwise rotation

15. Choose Feed From to Tray1 (Manual) from the Feed from scroll down list

16. At this point, make sure that you have your envelopes placed on Tray 1

17. Press OK, and Print

18. You have to stand by the printer to press the Select button on the printer for every envelope you print.

Note: This method only provides the solution for printing out a single envelope. If you want to print for a large quantity, that means you have to press Print on the computer as many times as you press Select on the printer.
