Salmon Restoration Conference.  The 26th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference will be held March 5-8, 2008 in the northern San Joaquin Valley. The conference will probably feature all-day field tours of Toulumne River restoration projects, Delta Water Systems, East Bay MUD Fisheries Monitoring and Management and a tour of the Mokelumne River.  For more information check the official website by clicking here for the official website.

FAME Fisheries and Marine Ecosystems Graduate Student Conference.  This year's conference will be held at the Olympic Park Institute in Port Angeles, WA from April 11-13, 2008. The annual FAME conference is about connecting graduate students who are interested in studying a wide variety of issues pertaining to Fisheries and Marine Ecosystems. The focus of the 2008 Conference, hosted by the University of Washington, is the integration of science, policy, and law as they apply to fisheries and marine ecosystem issues. This conference also seeks to connect the researchers and decision-makers of tomorrow, fostering increased understanding and collaboration across disciplines and enhancing understanding within our own disciplines to address marine and coastal issues.  For more information check the official website by clicking here for the official website.
